I am from Memphis, Tennessee. In 2004, I started working for Central Auto Parts in Orlando, Florida.
I have driven Jeeps all my life. I drive a Jeep daily and have another at the house I am putting back together.
I enjoy the parts business because I get to meet a diverse range of people and I enjoy helping them get back on the road. Before I was in the parts business I mostly worked as a pizza delivery guy. That meant I was constantly working on my car to keep it running for that job. After the delivery jeep got wrecked, I decided to save my next Jeep by get out of the delivery business. That’s when I applied for a job at Central Auto Parts in Orlando and I’ve been slingin’ parts ever since.
I was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. I began selling parts in 1999 at the corporate Carquest store in downtown Tallahassee.
I love helping people find the parts they are looking for to get their car back on the road.
When I was a little girl, my dad had me hand him tools to fix his truck and mother’s car. Ever since then fixing cars has been my dream. So, I am helping others while fulfilling my dream. I know my father would be proud of what I am doing today.
I was born in Thomasville GA. and started working in the Automotive Parts Industry in 1987 with a small family owned parts store here in Tallahassee FL. I was with them for many years until 1994 when went to work for a corporation until 2003. In 2003, I was most fortunate to get a job at Connie Liles Auto Parts and I been here ever since. My favorite Part about working in the Automotive Parts Industry is the small family owned company and loving atmosphere. We are treated as if we are all one big family.
I started in the parts business, of course, with my love for hotrods. I find building, racing, mud bogging to bring me the most joy. I have a 1954 Apache truck that I am currently working on as my dream project vehicle.
What I love most about working in this industry is the people aspect of it, such as the mechanics and talking shop. I also enjoy learning new things. I must say I am blessed to find something I love to do and be paid to do it.
I am originally from North Dakota, I started out in 2001 in the heavy-duty truck parts industry working for a Kenworth dealer. I worked in shipping and receiving while also making deliveries. I started selling parts at an International dealership in 2003. In 2004, I decided to move to Tallahassee and took a job working with the Mack dealer in Tallahassee where I worked for 12 years before coming to Connie Liles to run the Fleet Solutions office.
As far as my favorite car to build I like all kinds of different vehicles, I would rather buy a vehicle that is less of a project and more of a driver.
My favorite thing about the industry is the different people you get to deal with past, present and future.
I am from Dixie County, Florida. After World War II, my great grandfather, grandfather, cousin and uncle opened a family business that sold automotive parts and hardware. I started selling parts by the time I started junior high school. After graduating from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 1992, my mother and I opened Connie Liles Auto Parts here in Tallahassee, Florida.
